AKPS, a client-side project management business, commenced operations in 2013 working out of a home office with just one person at the helm. Within six years, this energetic enterprise has evolved into a well-established business with an experience team located in larger premises in Albury.

AKPS provides small to large businesses, local government and private clients alike, a down to earth and practical approach to their Construction and Project Management needs. The AKPS team brings extensive project experiences with a focus on establishing strong relationships with our clients and other project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.

Location

AKPS is located in Albury NSW. A dynamic and growing regional city located on the Murray River and situated on the Hume Highway between Sydney and Melbourne. Being in Albury allows AKPS to provide project management support to both sides of the NSW/Victorian border. AKPS is proud to say that whilst it is located in Southern NSW, distance is not an obstacle from providing our services to other parts of Australia.

Owner/Director

A wealth of experience in project management and a proven track record of coordinating multiple stakeholders and progressing design, construction and business projects to ensure delivery on time and to budget. Andrew has an extensive skill set including Project Management, General Management, Contracts Management, Finance, Planning and Forecasting and Stakeholder Liaison.

James Filby

Project Manager

A knowledgeable and experienced project manager with a demonstrated history of working in the construction industry. Skilled in Semiconductor Lasers, Audio Visual System Design, Project Management, Firearms Handling and Remote Power Systems. James has grown up in the Albury/Wodonga area and is well versed in the needs of the burgeoning region and beyond and will go the extra mile to ensure that clients’ needs are met. James is trade qualified in electronics, data communications and project management

Chrishan Dharmabandu

Project Manager

A dynamic and versatile Mechanical Engineer with key experience in project management over the last five years. Having commenced with the business as a project coordinator, Chrishan quickly showed the tenacity and capability to be a project manager utilizing his strategic thinking and strong stakeholder engagement skills. Passionate about adding value for clients, Chrishan brings to the table a strong business acumen.

Shane Warren

Project Manager

An experienced project manager with strong ability to deliver client expectations through various management processes. Shane can call upon a breadth of skills learnt through commercial design, project and contracts management. Shane’s stakeholder engagement coupled with his past experience brings value and growth to the AKPS team.

A skilled and experienced project coordinator, Jack has extensive experience in the construction industry, along with considerable exposure in facility management. Jack understands the needs of clients and he brings to the table strong asset and financial management skill sets.
